Bill Curtis

     Bill Curtis received his BA in Religion and English from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN, in 1986, his MA in English/Professional Writing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1993, and his M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, in 1996. He received his Ph.D. in Biblical Studies, with a concentration in Homiletics, from Southeastern Seminary in 2001. Bill has served as an Adjunctive Professor of Homiletics and English at Southeastern Seminary and College for 18 years, where he currently teaches Homiletics in the Ph.D. program. He has been an Associate Professor of Homiletics for Liberty Seminary since 2011. Bill has written extensively for numerous magazines, scholarly journals, and professional societies. In 2011, he co-authored a Homiletics text with Drs. Danny Akin and Stephen Rummage called Engaging Exposition. Preaching Today named it “Book of the Year” in 2012. He recently completed a new book for Broadman & Holman Publishers entitled Exalting Jesus in Micah, as well as his new book, 30 Days to James, for Seed Publishing Group.

 

Bill recently published a non-fiction book he helped Dominic Parisi, one of the most famous hotel and casino managers in the history of Las Vegas, write entitled My Vegas Life: Memories of Elvis Presley, Barry Manilow, and the Golden Age of Vegas.
