Preptober Advice of the Week
It's okay if you haven't done anything to prepare yet. There's still time! Even if it's just working up character sketches, even the smallest bit of prep now will make NaNo go so much easier.
Upcoming Events
The calendar for this year's write-ins is up on the Region calendar. Just sign into your account, go to your home region, and look under 'Calendar'. The write-ins list will also be posted on the Facebook page and on this website.
There will be weekly write-ins in Florence but only two in Hartsville (this is due to driving distance for me and lack of attendance for that area). Every week, there will be an online write-in on Slack. If you aren't on our Slack, email me to receive an invitation.
November 2 -- Kick Off Party! Go to the Facebook page to RSVP. Once you have, you will be given the address to where the party will take place.
November 17 -- Day of Writing Dangerously. This is a drop-in event at my house. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for the event to be posted. Once you've RSVP'd, I'll send you my address.
Obnoxious Reminder to Announce Your Novel
NaNo begins next week! If you've waited this long before announcing your novel, then you're obviously using the pressure of time to help you come up with a stunning idea. Bravo for your daring! Now, go announce your novel.
